Most brides can’t wait to look back on their wedding day and every special moment in between that happened on this incredible day. One thing you may not have thought of that greatly reflects your love story is your bridal details. Bridal details are so important because it helps tell the story of your wedding day. As you look back on your wedding album, your bridal details are the cherished pieces that bring together what makes your wedding day so special.
Why are Bridal Details Important?
So why do bridal details matter on your wedding day and what do they actually include?
For most brides when you think about your wedding day you’ll often remember the ceremony and reciting your vows. You’ll also remember how you felt throughout the day, but oftentimes those special details you planned throughout your wedding planning process can be forgotten.
Bridal Details can include the following:
- Wedding Dress (Including a gorgeous hanger)
- Wedding rings (His, Hers, and the engagement ring)
- Ring box (optional but highly recommend as it’s great for storage)
- Veil & Hairpiece
- Jewelry ( Necklace, Earrings, Broach, Any other Family Heirlooms)
- Full Wedding Invitation Suite (Including all envelopes and save the dates)
- Wedding Program and or Vow Books
- Bouquets & Boutonnières
- Any additional gifts
Bridal details are one aspect of a wedding day I love to photograph because I really get to see every intentional piece that describes who my couples are together. You don’t have to include everything listed above in your wedding bag if they just don’t apply to you. Around 30 days before the wedding day, I always give my couples a bridal details checklist that goes in depth about everything above. It’s incredibly helpful to have it with you as you pack so you don’t forget anything you would want photographed.
