One of the things I loved about living in Orlando is the amount of beautiful locations around you everyday.  Disney is always at the top of my list of places to visit but there’s just so much more to see. I know guys that’s hard to imagine if you’re a Disney pass holder like me, but it’s true. I mean the options are endless when you live in a big city. This is especially true when you’re planning a big event like the setting for your engagement photos. If you’re a newly engaged bride reading this congratulations! Seriously this is such an exciting moment in your life so don’t forget to soak it all up. Especially with some mimosa’s and your best girl friends! The Wedding Planning Process

Now, I’m sure you’re so excited to be engaged and to start planning your dream wedding. You may have already been searching for your wedding dress, and maybe have tasted a cake or two. Seriously my favorite part of planning my wedding was the cake tastings..who doesn’t love cake! Now, it’s time to start thinking about your engagement photos. One of the first things you need to start thinking about when planning your engagement session is the location. I like to tell all my epic couples to pick a location you feel comfortable in that has meaning to you.

 

Engagement Photo Locations

Of course, if you’re the one who likes to break the rules from time to time like me you don’t have to pick a place with meaning. However, when you look back on your photos it’ll mean so much more when it’s chosen with intention. If you love the outdoors like I do choose someplace that reflects that. If your jam is staying at home to watch Netflix and chill than have an at home engagement session. One of the beautiful things about making this decision is you to get to choose what tells your best love story. I hope I can be there to capture it all and to make you laugh along the way.

Orlando Florida Engagement Locations

So today I am going to be sharing 10 Amazing Orlando Engagement Session Locations to help you make that process of finding an engagement session location a little easier. From being an Orlando engagement photographer I get to photograph couples love stories in beautiful places and for that I am so thankful. I hope these Central Florida engagement locations helps you find a setting you love that tells the story of who you are together.

1.  Casa Feliz  – Orlando, Florida

Casa Feliz is one of those Central Florida wedding venues you are blown away by. It’s beautiful landscape and architecture is enough to make any travel loving enthusiast fall in love. If you are a couple who loves historic buildings, unique architecture, and vintage design you’ll want to check out this Orlando engagement session location

2. Luxmore Grand Estate – Winter Springs, Florida

When I think of Luxmore Grand Estate three words easily come to mind Gorgeous, Breathtaking, Elegant. This wedding venue is just one you must see to believe to truly take in its beauty. I just love the classic and timeless look of the estate. I feel it is the perfect setting for those couples who loves classic and timeless design that will never go out of style.

3. Cypress Grove Estate House – Orlando, Florida

Cypress Grove Estate House is an awesome place for an Orlando engagement session for those couples who love nature and the outdoors. This Central Florida wedding venue is filled with beautiful options for photo locations any nature lover would admire. I’m just blown away by the natural beauty of God’s creations daily and I don’t think this venue and the surrounding landscape will disappoint.

4. University of Central Florida – Orlando, Florida

I guess I’m a little bit biased with this one because I am a proud UCF Alumna! Go Knights. I think having an engagement session at the place where you met as a couple is amazing and so sweet. It has so much sentimental value and it instantly tells a little story about you as a couple. If you give me another opportunity to reminisce on that time in my life I’ll be there and I’ll see if I can get Knighttro in on a shot or two. Can’t make any promises though.

5.  Rollins College – Winter Park, Florida

Who’s ready for a little quiz? Yeah didn’t think so but did you know Rollins College was Florida’s first college built in 1885? I know crazy right?! This location is not only a historic gem but this campus is just a beauty. It is filled with unique Spanish architectural design and just wait till you see all those glorious columns. Rollins College is just a nice place to be surrounded by and can make the perfect backdrop for your Orlando engagement session.

6. Lake Louisa State Park – Clermont, Florida

Lake Louisa State Park is the perfect Orlando engagement location for those who love to just soak up a little sun. If you’re a couple who loves the Florida sunshine and enjoys hanging out with friends at the park then you should definitely check out this park.

7. Bok Tower Gardens – Lake Wales, Florida

Can we talk just for a moment how beautiful Bok Tower Gardens is. If you have never heard of this place just stop what you’re doing for a moment. I see you Youtube playing in the background and just do a quick Google search. Now …GO! What can I say except you’re welcome * inserts Maui voice* Sorry guys with kids who love all things Disney I had to put that in there haha. In all honesty Bok Tower Gardens is a beautiful place located South of Lake Wales with over 130 acres of lush gardens. I mean everywhere you turn there’s a beautiful place to photograph. This Orlando engagement session location will not disappoint.. you can trust me on this one guys.

8. Downtown Orlando, Downtown Winter Park.. Just Downtown Guys:)

One of the things I love about downtown engagement sessions is the plethora of options. There is literally something for everyone. Downtown has characteristics that are unlike what you can find in the city. It’s the perfect location for an outdoor engagement session as you really get a feel for what makes a piece of that city unique. Every downtown is different with it’s distinct stores and landscapes and that’s why it’s an amazing choice for those couples who love spending time together out in their city.

9. Harry P. Leu Gardens Orlando, Florida

Henry P Gardens is just a beauty to look at. With over 50 acres of botanical gardens a short ride from Downtown Orlando it’s easy to see why locals love visiting this place. If you love the great outdoors and have dreams of living on a farm like Chip and Joanna Gains tending to your garden well you may just want to have your engagement session here. Okay this location has nothing to do with farm living in the countryside but it is a beautiful location none the less. It’s the picture perfect venue for those couples who share a love of nature and adventure. If you’re a gal like me who loves being surrounded by all things pretty this venue will be perfect for you.

10. Sydonie Mansion – Mount Dora Florida

If you’ve ever had dreams of traveling abroad to Europe then Sydonie Mansion will take you there with it’s Mediterranean architectural influences. This wedding venue is absolutely gorgeous and can become the perfect setting for a classic and elegant engagement session. The moment I walked the grounds I fell in love instantly and seriously guys it’s McDreamy beautiful *any other Grey’s Anatomy fans out there? Okay well if you don’t know then now you know people. *

11. Have FUN!

Okay this isn’t a location but it’s probably one of the best ones on this list. After you have your environment locked down and outfits picked remember to have fun and enjoy your session. You can think of your engagement session as a special date night where you get your own paparazzi following you around. Okay maybe not that dramatic haha but seriously take this time and enjoy the moment.  I mean you’ll leave feeling confident and won’t even realize how fast time will fly. So remember if you love the ocean lets set up an adventure session in the water. If ice cream is your muse lets meet at your local ice cream shop and schedule a session around that.
